When discussing what should be next for Marsh Wear the idea of American made shirts kept coming up. The idea sounded great and there were manufactures that were claiming that they were just that and being a proud American its very easy to just jump on board with this without much research. What we learned was there are different levels of "made in America". Whether it be overseas cotton outsourced and assembled in America or the other way around they were not a truly American made shirt from start to finish. After lots of searching we realized it was not only possible to get fully made in America shirts but fully South Eastern made shirts from areas we called home. Upon reviewing this move we were warned that people said they liked American made goods but would shy off by the price tag. We refused to believe that the fishing/outdoor community would not realize the importance and just coolness of a shirt made from start to finish in the South East With cotton that has so much history in the South. We have now had these shirt available for a couple months and our customers have proved the haters wrong, that they were proud to be Americans and were willing to spend their hard earned dollars to help support the American economy and its jobs. So we at Marsh Wear would like to thank everyone who has understood the rise in price of our shirts and supported our move to our South East Cotton tees!
