Warm weather may be on the way out, but the fish certainly are not… We spoke with Captain Tucker Blythe, Marsh Wear Clothing Ambassador and owner of Grey Ghost Charters, on what he has seen with the weather starting to change and the water beginning to cool. One thing is for certain; there is still some great fishing in the Carolinas. Reds, trout, flounder, and sheepshead have been his main targets, and he mentioned that bull reds would remain inshore for a few more weeks before their annual migration offshore in November. Clearwater sightfishing for reds in the flats really picks up in November as well.
Check out some of the cooler weather catches over on Captain Blythe’s blog if you need a little motivation to get up early and hit the water on these cold fall mornings.
Also, be sure to check out our new fall line below with some cold weather gear that will make those chilly mornings a little more bearable.
